Wendy Rivers, CEMT, is a graduate of Roger
Williams College, in Rhode Island, with a degree in
Administration of Justice. A horse lover and rider
since childhood, Wendy began her search for
natural, therapeutic options early in horse ownership
ultimately leading to a career in equine massage.
Wendy is a co-owner of Connecticut Equine
Massage. Wendy is a Certifed Equine Massage
Therapist (CEMT), having graduated from the
EQUISSAGE teaching facility in Round Hill, VA,
Wendy enjoys English hunt seat and continues her
training and competing on her American Paint
gelding, Four Winds Banjo.

Halide Caine, CEMT, is founder and
co-owner of Connecticut Equine
Massage. Halide is a long time horse
owner and lover and has ridden in both
western and english disciplines. After
almost 26 years in international
corporate marketing, sales and public
relations, Halide switched careers
several years ago and became certified
in equine whole body sports from the
EQUISSAGE teaching facility in Round
Hill, VA and now makes a living by
traveling to massage clients in
Connecticut and Massachusetts. Halide
sits on the Board of Directors of the
Connecticut Horse Council and chairs
the CHC's HORSE911 program. Under
the auspices of HORSE911 she runs
firefighter training workshops in barn
fire response and emergency horse
handling. Halide is a member of the
Connecticut State Animal Response
Team (CTSART) and is certified in
TLAER - Technical Large Animal
Emergency Rescue.

Josephine (Jodi) Barker, CESMT,
has been involved with horses her
entire life, breeding, training and
showing both as an amateur and
professionally. She has owned and
handled multi-disciplined Morgan
Horses in hunt and saddleseat, as well
as park, pleasure, and carriage driving.
She received her equine massage
training from Equissage, in Round Hill,
Virginia, is a Certified Equine Sports
Massage Therapist, and a Life Member
of the International Association of
Animal Massage Therapists. Josephine
is a board member of The Connecticut
Horse Council, working on educational
issues, a certified Technical Large
Animal Emergency Responder, and a
member of CTSART Region 5 (Litchfield
County). She also serves as Secretary
of the Litchfield Hills Driving Club.
