"Gabby has been working on my horse for years now and I can honestly say that my horse has changed for the better since being on a scheduled rotation with her. My mare can be super sensitive and gets overwhelmed easily in certain situation and every single time Gabby massages her she goes out of her way to ensure that my girl has a great experience. I have seen Gabby massage multiple horses and she goes above and beyond to make sure that she does not rush the process and everyone gets the attention that they need. After every massage she sends me a full detailed description of what felt good on my mare, what was tight/ reactive, how her demeanor was for the massage, if she needed to take breaks due to her getting too overstimulated, etc. As the owner of a nervous horse, I can’t even explain how amazing it feels to have someone who puts so much time and effort into a sometimes difficult horse who needs extra time and patience. I cannot praise Gabby enough for all of the hard work and kindness she has put into my mare, she is truly a great human and great equine massage therapist."

"Good morning Lauren and Wendy, I hope you’re both having a wonderful weekend. I HAD to take a moment this morning to write an email and shout from the rooftops how happy Remi and I are after Lauren’s massage Friday night. In the year and 5 months that I have been with Remi, I have never seen her this content, relaxed, comfortable or happy - and everyone who knows her has commented the same. Immediately after her massage on Friday night, I noticed a horse that just looked happier and less in pain, it sounds crazy but her eyes looked brighter and her facial expressions were so relaxed. Yesterday when I got to the barn early in the morning to prepare for her trip up to Mass, I found a silly mare who pranced around the indoor doing happy bucks and rolling (which she never does!) - she was so playful! Lauren, I’m happy to report that we jumped around a beautiful course yesterday (COMPLETELY sound) and that she was the most balanced and supple she’s ever been, it was truly a dream ride. I am so impressed with your knowledge, attention to detail, patience and connection you have with the horse as you are working on them. Remi and I can’t wait to see you again in 3 weeks and most likely monthly after that - I’m just so thankful my girl is feeling like her best self. With so much appreciation!"

"Wendy has been massaging my personal horses for several years now and she has spoiled myself and my horses with such great care that i can't imagine using anyone else. She is very attentive to each horse's specific needs and takes the time to work on areas that she feels need extra time. I recommend her to all of my boarders, clients and friends. She has worked on all ages of horses with a wide array of jobs, from show horses to pleasure horses, and treats them all equally. She is patient with the young ones and careful with the older ones. I always notice a huge difference after Wendy has worked on them. They feel loose, relaxed and supple ready to compete at a show, continue training at the farm, or travel for a weekend of trail riding. My horses are my children and I wouldn't trust just anyone with them. I completely trust Wendy and look forward to each visit as much as the horses do! "

"Gabby has been nothing but wonderful in the time she has spent working on all of my horses. She is incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable about the amazing work she does. I have seen major improvements in all my horses both physically and mentally since Gabby started doing their massage work. "When my horse, Pistachio, foundered last summer, my vet recommended that I contact Wendy. Wendy was able to work with my horse on a weekly basis to free up the muscle tightness that was apparent throughout his body as a result of the founder. Over the last year, throughout his recovery, Wendy was able to make him more comfortable. Now, fortunately, we are back to riding and I can also see the benefits of massage on a heathly, normal horse. Wendy is great with him, supportive of our goals, attentive and reliable. I feel very fortunate to be able to have Wendy as port of his ongoing care and grateful for all she has done to help him while on the road to recovery. Lastly, Pistachio loves the sessions and enjoys every minute which makes us all happy."

"Wendy Rivers has been doing massage therapy on my horse for over 2 years now. My horse has had issues with a sore back and stiffness for several years. I have worked with several veterinarians and tried everything from saddle fitting to chiropractic work. I've also tried Adequin shots and hock injections. I was beginning to thing about retiring my horse. A friend suggested I try massage therapy with Wendy. She immediately suggested I talk with my vet about her SI joints. The vet agreed and suggested we get the injections done. I went ahead with this, not just so I could ride again, but because I wanted my horse to be free from pain. Within weeks, I had a new horse. The change is remarkable. We now ride regularly. We do everything from eventing, low level jumping and just peaceful rides through the woods and across the fields. My horse is a very happy 23 year old mare who will continue to get regular therapy from Wendy for the rest of her days. It's the least I can do for all the joy she has given me. "

"I can't say enough about how AMAZING Lauren from CT Equine Massage LLC is. She is constantly in communication with me about my 21yoAQHA Gelding, and gives me updates. She also is so well aware about how Marty looks and acts on a normal basis, and even alerted me today that he seems more sleepy than usual. I could really tell that she cares about Marty just like she would if he were her own."

"Hi Wendy - Thank you very much for the excellent massages & care you provide Tibs. I am quite impressed by your skills, extensive knowledge & experience, gentle manner in which you handle Tibs and the incredible knack you have for finding and resolving his problem areas. He absolutely loves his own massages and his time with you, as do I. He has improved tremendously since you have worked with him. He is clearly relaxed, moves more smoothly & freely, and is visibly happier and more comfortable. In addition to your amazing talent & care (not to mention the results you achieve), your follow up check-ins to ensure he is doing well are not only above and beyond, they’re heartwarming! Tibs and I appreciate you!! Thank you for your dedication and amazing care on every level."
